Hey! I’m back in blog action :) Been so busy lately haven’t been able to find time to blog but tonight I’m
making time for this one. For those of you that know me you know I LOVE Coffee!!!
When I started my journey to health I would make a daily (ok sometimes twice a
day) stop to Starbucks to get a skinny cinnamon Dulce latte. When I
started a program called 21 day fix milk and artificial sweetener was out. The artificial sweetener part probably was a blessing in disguise. Milk
could be drank a few times a week but not daily for the challenge. This was so
hard for me, I didn’t know what I was going to do. I'm a creature of habit so this was a hard habit to break.I started just drinking my coffee black or getting Americano's with 1 raw sugar since that was allowed. So that’s been getting the job done for a while and then I saw a post about coconut creamer!! :) My quest began to find it, I ended up finding some on my first trip to Whole foods, soon after they started selling it at my local Albertsons. This stuff is so yummy!! It definitely tastes great without the guilt of real creamer. I really like it! But then I started doing research on coconut and found that coconut products can make your body release cholesterol which I’m not sure is true but since I’m trying to lower my cholesterol that freaked me out a bit. So I felt like I was back to square one and back to black coffee.
Until the other day when I was at the store I discovered almond
creamer!! <3<3 I was so excited after the tragedy with coconut creamer.
So I’ve tried the almond creamer twice now. It’s not as good as the coconut
creamer or the real thing but it’s better than just black coffee. I will definitely continue to drink it.
